Wow! This place is a hidden gem in the heart of the countryside. The hosts were an amazing couple who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from nearby towns and attractions. We loved the peace and quiet of the countryside, it was so relaxing. And let's talk about the breakfast, it was absolutely amazing! Locally sourced ingredients, including bacon, sausages. The attention to detail and the homemade bread were a delightful touch. We will definitely be coming back!
That the nearest village or town was a bit of a distance away, so having a car is essential unless you're here for a walking holiday like we were. But honestly, this didn't take away from our overall experience at all.

We had a quiet and tranquil two night stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. the hosts, Ros and Keith, were very welcoming and charming, making us feel right at home. the breakfast they prepared for us each morning was delicious, with a variety of freshly prepared fruit and homemade bread. the little extras, like the bottle of water in the room, were a nice touch. Ros also gave us some great advice on where to eat and visit in the area. it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. 😊.

the picturesque location where we stayed gave us the chance to fully immerse ourselves in nature, while still being within a reasonable distance from the nearby attractions. the comfortable and immaculately clean room we were given offered amazing views, and we slept soundly in the cozy beds. Breakfasts were truly magnificent, with a variety of locally sourced, fresh produce. the friendly hosts went above and beyond to make us feel right at home, and the attention to detail throughout the establishment was simply outstanding.
There was one minor inconvenience that we experienced: the location was a bit remote, which meant that transportation was required to get around.

The hotel had a beautiful location, nestled in a serene and idyllic area. The staff were impeccable, giving me a warm welcome and providing helpful advice on local restaurants and attractions. My room was spotlessly clean and provided tea/coffee, bottled water, and biscuits. The breakfast was wholesome and delicious, with home-made bread and a variety of options. Parking was easy and the hotel was conveniently located to the city centre.
No issues.

The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hot water never ran out and the shower pressure was great. Plus, the bed was really comfortable. Keith was really helpful in offering tips on where to eat and what to do in the area.
The Christmas decorations were not very impressive, and they didn't match the holiday spirit. The breakfast was not great, the sausages and bacon tasted cheap and the eggs were overcooked.

We definitely got our money's worth and more at Coombe Farmhouse. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, and we were spoiled with a beautiful view of the countryside. The location was peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts, Ros and Keith, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and their knowledge of local places to visit was impressive. We learned so much about Cornwall in just a short chat with them. we couldn't have asked for a better stay.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings even better would be to have a wider variety of options.

Spent our Easter weekend at a farmhouse located in the peaceful countryside. the hosts were charming and friendly and had the perfect balance of being reachable without being intrusive. the bed was very comfortable, and we woke up to stunning views of the countryside and plenty of birds and wildlife. We loved the breakfast with the freshly home-baked bread and the variety of options. the farmhouse had all that we needed for a comfortable stay.
We wished there was a bathtub to soothe sore muscles after our long walks. it would have been better if there was more public transport to this remote farmhouse as it was quite challenging to reach via car, and the taxi cost was a bit steep.

Lovely countryside setting with peaceful surroundings. Great breakfast with locally sourced ingredients.
The lack of a bathtub was a disappointment, especially after a day of exploring. getting to the nearest town required a car or a taxi, as public transportation was not readily available.
